RBOC Boater of the Year Award Presented to Assembly Member Kevin Mullin

RBOC Director Winston Bumpus on November 8 formally presented Assembly Member Kevin Mullin [D-San Mateo] with the organization’s highest honor, the Boater of the Year Award, in recognition of the Member’s efforts to protect and enhance the interests of the state’s recreational boaters.

As noted in the presentation, California’s recreational boating community is sincerely appreciative of the Member’s leadership and commitment in the State Capitol.

Boaters recognize and value Assembly Member Mullin’s dedicated efforts throughout 2018 in requesting an audit of the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC) to investigate the organization’s enforcement activities, adherence to its mission, funding and operational needs and structure that will work to enhance safety on the state’s waterways.

RBOC thanks Mr. Mullin for his extraordinary efforts that are of great benefit to the state’s recreational boaters and is pleased to present him with the 2018 Boater of the Year Award.
