California Boaters - Please take RBOC's 3-minute survey today!

March 9, 2026

RBOC would appreciate your thoughts as a California boater on the boating issues we are advocating in the State Capitol – it will take just 3 minutes!

  • Restrictions on boating access to lakes and reservoirs to prevent the spread of invasive species

  • Imposition of a sticker and fee requirement on non-motorized vessels

  • Restraints on the use of copper-based anti-fouling coatings to address impaired water bodies

  • Impacts of the Delta Conveyance Project on boaters and navigation

  • Increases in the registration fees boaters pay to the state Department of Motor Vehicles

  • Expansion of state boat registration requirements to include documented vessels

  • Dedication of boater fuel tax dollars to state park operations

  • California’s authorization of E15 fuel

  • Mandatory manufacturer take-back program for pyrotechnic marine distress flares

  • Any additional boating concerns boaters would like to bring to our attention
