RBOC is urging Southern California boaters, especially those who live or boat in Marina del Rey, to testify in person or virtually at a hearing that begins at 9 am next Thursday, June 27.
At issue is a proposed amendment to the water quality control plan that would set the stage for boaters to obtain permits and pay significant fees, and could even lead to a ban on the use of copper-based anti-fouling paints on boat hulls in Marina del Rey Harbor.
• The meeting location: 320 West 4th Street, Carmel Room, Los Angeles CA 90013
• The link to sign up to testify virtually: Webinar Registration - Zoom
